One afternoon in the spring of 2003 I was feeling a bit fried and took a walk around the house. I passed by a box of yellow Bunny Peeps that were sitting on the counter (leftover from Easter) and figured, what the heck, scarf 'em down and get a little sugar rush. I ripped open the package, chomped into one and tossed it's remains onto the counter. For some unknown reason, I promptly walked back to my desk to get a little plastic VF model and placed it next to the mortally wounded Bunny as if the he had just crashed. The next thing I know, I'm setting up bystander Bunnies and am in the shop fashioning a FooBargle from a whiffle golf ball that I found in my yard a couple of days previous.
I finished up the pictures, posted an album and e-mailed a few friends of mine with a link. What followed was a completely unexpected explosion of interest in the Biker Peeps and the rest is history.
The Biker Peeps are all about motorcycle safety. Bikes are a lot of fun, but they can seriously hurt or kill you if you aren't careful. Hopefully the mis-adventures of the Peeps can help motorcyclists avoid some of their costly and often fatal mistakes.
Keep the rubber side down!
